If you are not familiar with Chester but would like to get to know a little about the city and its development, why not join one of the tours offered by the Chester Archaeological Society? They will take place on Wednesday 19th December, starting at 09.45am and 2.30pm and lasting about one and a half hours. The rendezvous is the bridge over the canal immediately outside the Northgate. If you would like to go on one of these tours, please sign up at the Society’s stand in the Small Hall. Places are limited to c 15 people per tour and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Alternatively you can do a self-guided tour at a time that suits you (although we strongly advise daylight hours); just click here to download the itinerary and follow the route suggested.
