Cheshire History Day – Literary Cheshire

Cheshire History Day will be held on Saturday 4th November 2017 at the new Memorial Court in Northwich. The days’ topic will be Literary Cheshire with presentations on Ranulf Higden, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, Anna Barbauld, Elizabeth Gaskell and Beatrice Tunstall.

Excavations at Moel Arthur

The Clwydian Range Archaeological Group (CRAG) will start excavations at Moel Arthur on Saturday 22nd July 2017.
CRAG will be holding two Open Days at Loggerheads Country Park on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July to encourage people to visit the site, or join them as excavators.
